ZFI proudly announce the following news and events:
- Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) has awarded ZFI one of six prime contracts for Minimum Flow and Level Analysis. This important project, which will be conducted with the SWFWMD office in Tampa, is an outstanding opportunity for ZFI to demonstrate our modeling capabilities in central Florida. The task-based contract is for a term of 5 years.
- ZFI has been serving South Florida Water Management District on many projects. Newly added projects are: streamgauging for 12 sites in STA area; Ground-water data QA/QC and fiscal year 2007 Rain, Flow and ET data QA/QC.
- ZFI was awarded Drainage & Pipe Culvert Replacement by Polk County. Multiple sites have been completed with high quality including Scandinavia, Eagle Lake and Poinciana. This award was a part in a yearly contract. A one-year service contact with Polk County government has been awarded to ZFI, with possible two 1-year extensions. Work includes culverts replacement through big residential areas through Polk County.
- ZFI successfully finished City of Riviera Beach 1.3 million Trans and Pipeline project in Nov. 2005.
- ZFI was awarded with another 6-month extension work order on USACE S332C & S356 Operation and Maintenance.
- Most of EPA models have been studied and ran trials to conduct practices on selected water bodies/watersheds in Florida. Modeling includes WASP with Reedy Creek, and LSPC with Reedy Creek Watershed. Commercial model DHI has been deployed to calibrate/verify EPA model results on local usage.
- The third ZFI office will open soon around Recker Highway in Polk County. This office will be ZFI construction base. Construction management and operation will be conducted in this location.
